Workshopping in Ballarat

Congratulations to Ballarat Writers Inc. In response to requests from members, this year they have instituted a series of writing workshops which are open to both members and those outside the organisation who are keen to improve their writing skills. The first of the workshops was held in the Williamson Foyer of the Ballarat mechanics' Institute on Saturday 12th March. Called Getting Published it was presented by freelance writer and cartoonist Sheila Hollingworth. Further workshops will be presented throughout the year dealing with aspects of the writing process.
